Linda’s Chicken Soup

·      4 chicken breast on bone with skin

·      10 cups of water

·       8 fresh carrots, chopped

·       4 fresh celery stalks, chopped

·       5 chicken bouillon

·      1 medium to large onion, chopped coarse

·      1 large & 1 small bay leaves

·      3T parsley flakes

·      3T garlic powder

·      2T onion powder

·      1-2T basil leaves – to taste

·      1T black pepper – to taste (we like pepper)

·      1T sea salt – to taste

·      1t  thyme – to taste

·      1-2T basil leaves – to taste

·      1t  celery salt

·      1t rosemary

 

 

*All measurements are guesstaments, flavor to taste.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Directions

 

1.              Add seasonings to the water then bring to a boil.

2.               Add bouillon cubes, let dissolve in boiling water.

3.              Add chopped onion & chicken.

4.              Bring to boil then lower to light boil for 1hr.

5.              Remove chicken & set aside.

6.              Add remaining veggies.

7.              Bring to a boil then lower to light boil for 1hr.

8.              Remove meat from chicken breast, add to soup.

9.              Bring to low boil for 30min to 1hr.

10.       Make rice or noodles then enjoy.
