Three Day Brisket

 

1st Day:  Baste the unbaked brisket well with 2 tablespoons of liquid smoke & 1 teaspoon salt.  Wrap it in heavy foil then store in refrigerator overnight.

2nd Day:  Cover the meat with 1 teaspoon onion salt & 1 teaspoon garlic salt.  Wrap & bake at 300 degrees for 5 hours.  Cool & store in refrigerator overnight.

3rd Day:  Slice thin, cover with sauce from recipe below, wrap in foil then bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.

 

Sauce:

3 T brown sugar

1 cup catsup

½ cup water

6 T oil

4 T Worcestershire sauce

4 t ground mustard

2 T liquid smoke

Black pepper, salt to taste

Cook until well blended.
