Chocolate Cheese Cake
Ingredients:
***Crust***
1 pkg 8 ½ oz chocolate wafers crushed fine
¼ c sugar
1 t cinnamon
6 T butter, melted
***Filling***
4 packages (8 ounce size) cream cheese
1 T vanilla
1 1/3 sugar
1 1/3 semi sweet chocolate chips, melted & cooled
¼ c flour
4 large eggs, room temp
¼ c whipping cream
***Topping***
¾ c sour cream
1 T vanilla
¼ c semi sweet mini chocolate chips (optional)
Directions:
Heat oven to 400
Crust:
Mix all crust ingredients in a bowl. Press firmly into bottom of 9” spring form pan.
Bake 10 minutes, remove from oven, let cool on rack.
Reduce oven to 300
Filling:
Beat cream cheese until smooth then add sugar, choc, flour. Beat until fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time beating well after each. Beat in cream & vanilla.
Pour into cooled crust. Bake for 75-85 minutes.
Topping:
Mix sour cream & vanilla then spread on cake. Sprinkle mini chocolate chips (optional)
Chill overnight.
